The Art of Heritage Lighting Preservation
Antique chandeliers found in heritage palaces, colonial mansions, and vintage private collections represent irreplaceable artisanal heritage. Over decades, exposure to moisture, oxidization, and outdated fabric electrical wiring causes metal tarnishing and dangerous short circuits.
The 4-Step Museum-Grade Restoration Process
1. Deconstruction & Digital Mapping
Every crystal strand, brass arm, and ornamental finial is cataloged, photographed, and schematized to ensure authentic re-assembly.
2. 24K Gold & Antique Brass Electroplating
Tarnished metal components undergo ultrasonic stripping, chemical neutralization, and multi-layer electroplating with genuine 24K gold or custom antique bronze patinas.
3. Authentic Vintage Crystal Matching
Missing or chipped crystal droplets are matched from our extensive inventory of hand-cut Austrian, Bohemian, and Murano replacement crystals.
4. Teflon-Insulated Fire-Safe Rewiring
Decayed cotton wiring is replaced with heat-resistant Teflon insulated wire rated up to 200°C, seamlessly hidden within the fixture tubing and synced with modern Lutron or DALI dimming systems.
